James Reich, MD is a board certified in both general and forensic psychiatry and is in private practice in San Francisco. He has held academic positions at Yale, Iowa, Harvard and Brown. Currently he has teaching appointments at the professor level at Stanford and UCSF. He is the author of approximately 100 peer reviewed articles in the areas of anxiety, personality and forensic psychiatry and founded the Association for Research in Personality Disorders (ARPD). He is a distinguished life fellow of the APA.
